Liverpool's Egyptian King has done his ambition of signing a bumper long-term deal at Anfield no harm by scoring 27 times for the Premier League leaders this season.
Ahead of Sunday's game at home to Wolves, manager Arne Slot has compared the forward's longevity to another icon, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Salah is out of contract at the end of the season and has repeatedly raised the possibility of this being his last season on Merseyside as negotiations continue.
He believes his current form entitles him to a longer deal than the two years a player his age would normally expect.
'What excites me most is that Mo is a very humble person who wants to work every day to become a better player,' added Slot.
Salah has scored in his last five games at Anfield and will be expected to increase his run with Wolves battling to avoid relegation. In the reverse fixture at Molineux in September, he scored the decisive penalty in a 2-1 Liverpool win.

PGA Tour 2K25 is their third effort five years in and the leaps forward are excitingly obvious.
Tiger Woods may not be the best player in the world anymore (though I'd never publicly allow myself to utter that) but he remains the the greatest and biggest name the sport has ever seen. Thus, his place on the covers of the game still feels right.
While the already strong gameplay has been evolved yet again, the most exciting additions on the surface certainly lie in the new ways to rank up your MyPlayer and enjoy your career or how to create your own course.
Mail Sport had the chance to play he game for a few hours a month ahead of it's international release, so let us tell you what we think:

First impressions
As a veteran of a good golf game, I immediately noticed the difference with the new swing mechanics. I upped the difficulty to pro and even playing as Tiger Woods, it was near-on impossible to get the swing totally perfect in the early going.
If you play golf, you know that's really how it is! So the improvements feel well made, especially given the stick dynamic became repetitive to some down the years.
What I appreciate most about the 2K generation of these golf games is they keep what works and refine the rest. The course designs and replicas all look amazing as you would expect, but the MyCareer element left a little to be desired on the last iteration.
That's not something you expect from 2K. Their NBA franchise is built on their MyCareer, something they've even expanded to open world over the past few years.
Their WWE racket appears to be heading in the same promising direction this year, so I was hoping for a little more from the golf than my players' ability essentially growing dependent on the clubs and gear you have.
For anyone who plays Pro Clubs on FIFA, PGA 2K25 now has the tree system for skills and abilities so you can choose how your golfer grows. You want to be a big hitter? Then max up that power! You wanna have an unreal short game? You can sort that out too.
The new way to build up your created player is a vast improvement from 2K23
2K25 introduces three new championship courses with more set to drop in DLC
It seems you have far more control over how your MyPlayer looks and plays than ever before and the career mode needed that. Couple that with the introduction of The U.S. Open Championship, The Open Championship, and the PGA Championship making their LINK debuts and there is already a lot more meat on the bone.
All it really needs is the Ryder Cup to take things to the top level - but we're not there yet.
While it doesn't have narratives in the career mode like it's NBA and WWE cousins, the golf itself and the gameplay is arguably the strongest offering this brand has. No complaints at all on that front; whatever your level, you can instantly enjoy this game.

Everton captain James Tarkowski equalised in the seventh minute of added time to spark wild celebrations before Liverpool substitute Curtis Jones took umbrage at Doucoure celebrating in front of the visiting fans.

One of the most tantalizing movie offerings of the entire year, this biopic gives an account of the famous Harriet Tubman, as played by Cynthia Erivo, LINK starting with her escape from slavery. This is a much-hyped movie directed by Martin Scorsese, and one which reunites veteran gangster actors Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino. The story line involves a mob hit man who is recollecting his younger years, and how he may have been involved with the slaying of Jimmy Hoffa. This is a Netflix movie scheduled for release in late November, and it will be worth seeing even if only for the collaboration between its legendary stars and director.
Motherless Brooklyn
This is a very different movie in which a lonely detective tries his best to unravel the mystery surrounding the murder of his only friend in the world. Edward Norton directs this movie and stars in it as well, accompanied by costars Alec Baldwin and Bruce Willis. The action takes place in 1950's New York, and the period costumes and settings are worth the price of admission themselves. Mr. Norton is terrific in the starring role as well, and that makes this movie definitely worth seeing.
Jumanji: The Next Level
The four stars that we all learned to love in the remake of the Robin Williams version of Jumanji, are all back to take us on another journey into the game, so the game can be saved. Dwayne Johnson, Karen Guillen, Jack Black, and Kevin Hart return in this sequel to challenge more rogue animals, mountains, and jungle terrain, in an effort to stay alive and to save the video game.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
This film brings to a close the entire Skywalker story line, and that fact alone will make it worthy of screening. The stars for the film are Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, and Billy Lourde, but the real attractions as always, are the special effects which dazzle the viewer and make you believe that you're witnessing intergalactic battle spectaculars. In this film, the resistance fighters still alive will face the Final Order from the Republic, and must deal with that using all the resources at their disposal.

Danette Colbert, 48, dubbed the 'Bourbon Street Hustler' by New Orleans locals, was the last person to see Super Bowl reporter Adan Manzano alive.
Hunting security footage released by police on Wednesday showed the pair outside Manzano's room just before 4am on February 5.
Detectives released the image after DailyMail.com obtained footage of them entering the Comfort Suites in Kenner, Louisiana, at 3.46am.
Manzano's lifeless body was found face-down on his bed 12 hours later after the KGKC Telemundo Kansas City reporter missed a meeting.
Kenner Police Chief Keith Conley said toxicology tests would determine if he was drugged, perhaps fatally so, and that Colbert could be linked to a similar death.
John Jenkins, 55, was found dead on December 15 after traveling to New Orleans from his home in Gambrills, Maryland.
An autopsy found he died from cocaine and ethanol toxicity and his demise ruled accidental - but that is now being reevaluated.

'We've gotten information about similar acts that are coincidental in nature, and we're trying to determine if they are connected to Danette Colbert in any form or fashion,' Conley said.
'One of them was a fatality case that is of particular interest.'
Conley said evidence suggested Jenkins' case could be related to Colbert and his officers were investigating with state police and Attorney General Liz Murrill's office.
'Now I'm concerned when you might have one or two fatalities involving this kind of conduct. I think this is one we have to take a stand on,' he said.
Deputy Chief Mark McCormick added: 'We suspect she may be related to the case.'
Jenkins flew in with friends to watch the New Orleans Saints vs Washington Commanders NFL game and was last seen walking on Bourbon Street on the night of December 14.
He didn't make it to the game the next day, and his worried friends repeatedly asked his hotel on the 300 block of Dauphine Street to check on him.
Jenkins was found dead in his room, and some of his property was missing, Conley said.

Conley said since Colbert's arrest, several people contacted his office to report that they believed she drugged and robbed them too.
This was in addition to her sordid criminal history going back to at least 2012 across three states, many of her crimes having near-identical details.
Colbert in her previous crimes relentlessly targeted young men out on the town, three wearing Rolex watches that she stole, and seduced and/or drugged them.
One of them was David Butler, 52, who told DailyMail.com of how he was drugged and robbed of his life savings by Colbert in November 2021.
Butler said Colbert 'almost killed me' and he was haunted by knowing she was 'going to end up killing someone' but being unable to stop her after a judge suspended her entire 10-year jail sentence.
Security footage from the Comfort Suites lobby obtained by DailyMail.com showed Manzano appear coherent, following Colbert through the lobby, to his room.
The video shows Manzano, a recent widower whose wife died in a car crash last April, entering the hotel and never emerging again.
Colbert, on the other hand, left the room twice. She first emerged at 4.45am, leaving the room alone and returning 20 minutes later.

She then made two trips to reception, where it appeared she requested an extra key for the room.
She is then seen leaving the room at 5.21am for a final time.
Colbert was arrested days later after being caught using Manzano's credit cards in stores across New Orleans.
She was charged with credit card fraud, but police are still working to tie her to Manzano's death.
Her first known conviction was from a simple robbery in New Orleans in 2012. She skipped several court dates before eventually pleading guilty to possession of stolen goods, and given two years probation on October 1, 2013.
Then on November 4, 2014, she talked her way into a tourist's hotel room and left with $100 cash, his credit cards, and a $4,000 Rolex watch.
Colbert met the 35-year-old man on Bourbon Street at 4am and 'inquired if he wanted to party with her' - to which he agreed.
He took her to a convenience store to withdraw cash and eventually to his hotel room, only to wake up at 10am to find his property gone.
The plot thickened after police laid a trap at a Winn Dixie grocery store she where had used her victim's credit card 20 times.
Manzano was found unresponsive in his room around 12 hours after he was seen entering the hotel for a final time. Colbert was filmed leaving the hotel at 5.21am - two hours after arriving with Manzano
Police are now pursuing the theory that Colbert drugged Manzano and left him for dead. She was arrested after using his credit cards in a number of stores after his death
Detectives gave the manager a wanted poster with CCTV images of her wearing a blonde wig in the hotel, and he called them when she arrived on November 16.
But police were too slow to catch her, and she returned three hours later with two accomplices to take revenge.

This time Colbert was jailed for three years in May 2017, but was out of jail in time to run up another tab on a credit card that wasn't hers in May 2018.
Her crime was much easier that time, as she simply found a lost credit card at a Bourbon Street strip club and charged $3,000 at a Sam's Club.
She and two other women then tried to buy gift cards plus a $3,000 cash back at a Walmart in Gretna, Louisiana, and arrested on the spot.
For that crime, she got five years probation - despite repeatedly breaking earlier probations.
Her next arrest was in May 2022 over a crime earlier that year on January 17.
Colbert picked up a man who thought he was about to have a threesome with her and another woman at the Wynn Casino in Las Vegas.

Wynn spotted the women at the casino again on January 29 and called police, leading to her being interrogated, and eventually charged.
While on bail for this crime, Colbert drugged and robbed yet another man in Sin City - this time at the Encore casino on July 9.
Yet again, a man invited her and another woman back to his hotel room and they started drinking.
'While sitting on the couch, one of the females grabbed [his] head, forced it back, while the other female poured an unidentified liquid down his throat,' police said.
'[He] described the liquid to smell like tequila but was unsure.'
Soon he became dizzy and realized he had been drugged, and the women took advantage of the situation to demand money.

'If YOU choose to drive 97MPH in a 25MPH school zone, YOU choose to take a ride to Clark County Detention Center!'
Despite being seen weaving in and out of traffic, Colbert insisted to police that she did nothing wrong when they pulled her over.
The police report showed Colbert told the officer he would have to prove she was speeding, and that he only pulled her over because she was black.

Finally, record from last year showed Colbert's crimes spread to a third state - her home jurisdiction of Tennessee.
Colbert was arrested after police saw her attacking a man outside the Downtown Nashville Moxy last June.
As the officers approached, they saw her follow the man while yelling and pushing him until they we able to intervene.
Police said Colbert was visibly drunk and stank of alcohol. She told them she met the man while bar hopping on Broadway.
She was booked for disorderly conduct and public intoxication and released on a $1,000 bond.
Colbert is so far only being charged the same kind of property crimes as her previous arrests in the Manzano case, Kenner deputy police chief Mark McCormick said.
They include bank fraud, computer fraud, illegal transmission of monetary funds, access device fraud, and purse snatching.
'Obviously, there are allegations in [Colbert's] past criminal history that make us consider that. But we don't have anything at this point,' McCormick said.
Manzano graduated from Kansas State University and joined the Chiefs' beat at the beginning of the 2024 season as a sideline reporter.
He was covering his third straight Super Bowl, having also been in Arizona and Las Vegas before this month's visit to New Orleans.
